Great list, Renee!! I keep a similar ‘To-Buy’ list on my computer… and thanks to your list here was able to add some dates to a few I’m highly anticipating.
I read the first Dragonfire book when it first came out, and although the romance part fell flat at the end of the book, I did love the world building and thought the heat between the couple was great in the beginning, so I really want to give the second book–which is in my TBR pile– a try. But like you, I usually end up buying the third book before reading the second, anyway! LOL!
I love Shana Abe’s Drakon series, too. I don’t know how I do it to myself, but I hold out for the paperback releases on this series. *headdesk* It’s torture really. I only recently bought Queen of Dragons. I must get to it… I adore this series.
I do the same with Moning’s Fever series. I just can’t jump on board for hardcover releases for all the author’s I read, you know? But I will buy Briggs in hardcover. ‘Cuz I heart Mercy!
Christine: Thanks! Originally, (before this blog) this was an addition to my booklist that I kept on my computer (now, of course the “My Booklist” page). I used to move things from the “upcoming” section to the “booklist” section so I’d be ready when I went to the library or bookstore.
Confession time–I got Kiss of Fire, all the Fever series, and all the Drakon series books from the library (I did buy Kiss of Fury but haven’t yet read it), so the hardcover issue hasn’t affected me. However, I will spring for the Bone Crossed hardcover when it comes out!
